Stayed 12 nights at Hunters Spring Cabin, could not have asked for anything more. The cabin was clean, warm and very spacious.
This being a first for our hunting crew(renting a Forest Service cabin), we didn’t know what to expect, definitely not disappointed.

Nice cabin away from the highway but not too far from campgrounds, so not totally isolated. We were worried that we would have trouble getting down Spring Creek Road, but it was fine. We drove further on Spring Creek Road to explore and it was beautiful. There were a lot of ATVs driving on Spring Creek Road when we were there. There are bats, so keep cabin doors closed. No rodents or evidence of them when we were there. We could hear Elk early in the morning. The beds were comfortable. 2 bedrooms downstairs with 2 twin each and 1 bedroom upstairs with 2 twins, also has a futon. Looks like there was an outside water source at one time, but it isn't working. It's not far to the natural Spring though.

Great location. Close to Basin Creek Trail, great afternoon hike. Great cabin. Having a stove and fridge is a wonderful touch.

Really nice cabin! Had beds, firewood, and propane lights and fridge (all ready to go when we got there--fridge was even running). It was also set back off of a main forest service road with a gate across the driveway. You could still see the road from the cabin, but the gate offered a semi-private setting. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because there was some evidence of mice, which is almost inevitable in these cabins.
