What Guests Are Saying
Chinamen's Campground features beautiful scenery and great lake access, making it a pleasant getaway for families. Many reviewers appreciated the friendly and helpful camp host, though some expressed concerns about her availability and enforcement of rules. While the campground has a clean environment and reasonable pricing, issues like trash, noisy neighbors, and small campsite sizes were noted, suggesting a need for improvements in management and facilities.

We have always loved Chinamen's campground. But this years camp host is amazing. I can't remember her name. She was friendly and let our kids be kids. We were camping with a group of 4 friends. We had around 13 kids along. She even gave the littles a ride on her cart. When checking sites she got out and gave dogs along her way treats. I am usually not a fan of camp hosts. To be honest I try to avoid them. Our whole group loved her. The camp sites and bathrooms are also well kept.

We had a fun and relaxing weekend. The kids and I enjoyed some nice hikes through the nearby hills and kayaking in Canyon Ferry Lake! It is very accommodating to tenters and campers alike!! I will be booking here again soon!!

It’s a nice campground when it’s not busy. Would be nice if they had some extra wood at the campground too.

We really enjoyed the campsite #35 at Chinamens campground. It had lots of room for a larger tent for the six of us plus we were able to hang two hammocks and enjoy the great outdoors. It was close enough to the lake to be able to enjoy some water activities also. Definitely going back in the future.

Very clean campsite, a lot of spots available- it was quiet at night and the Sheriff drove through to make sure it was enjoyable

Chinamen’s is our favorite campground. It is a very peaceful place to camp. We try to camp here at least 3 times a year, with our extended family. The beach is always kept nice and clean. Chinamen’s always have the friendliest camp Hosts too.

It’s a beautiful site with shade. It’s a little removed from the other sites, so a bit more private. It’s larger than most sites. A short walk to the lake.
