What Guests Are Saying

Jo Bonner Campground offers well-maintained sites, clean facilities, and an exceptional camp host, Todd, who goes above and beyond to assist campers. The beautiful lakefront locations and wildlife enhance the overall experience, making it a popular choice for return visits. Campsites were very well maintained, firepits clean and the vault toilets were exceptional. There is a boat ramp with dock adjacent to the campground for easy access.

When we got there, the dock had been removed due to low water. Heavy moss conditions. It would have been helpful if that information was on web site. The camp host, Todd was amazing! He went above &beyond to help us overcome conditions.

Nice campground, clean and well maintained. Great lake access. Very little separation between camp sites and feels like an RV park.

We haven’t camped at JoBonner in years but decided to give it another shot. The host is amazing. Very kind and stays on top of things out there. I would have given the 5 star if the water wasn’t so nasty this time of year. If we didn’t have a boat to get out to the middle of the lake swimming would have been nasty. Canyon ferry gets pretty yucky this time of year. We will definitely go in June next year as the location is beautiful and peaceful!

Campground is usually pretty awesome but this trip was not the standard. The 4-5 sites around us were overloaded past the site guidelines. So many kids running thru our site and not a parent around. The host is generally good about keeping the policies, so I don't know what happened this time.

Another year another AWESOME time at Jo Bonner! The wildlife alone (deer and geese) and the gorgeous lakefront campsites keeps us coming back year after year! Cannot wait for a return trip!

Oh, Todd the campground host was the best and I mean top shelf!!!

The campground was closed due to horse gulch fire which is understood. Can I get a refund for the 2 sites I paid for?

Jo Bonner Campground is a small but very friendly location. If you're looking for shade and peace, this may not be the place because it's right next to the boat launch, attracts families with lots of kids, and has limited shade. That said, it was a good experience.
