What Guests Are Saying

Jo Bonner Campground offers well-maintained sites, clean facilities, and an exceptional camp host, Todd, who goes above and beyond to assist campers. The beautiful lakefront locations and wildlife enhance the overall experience, making it a popular choice for return visits. However, some guests noted issues with overcrowding and water quality during certain times of the year, but overall, the campground is described as friendly and enjoyable.

Nice clean restrooms. Beautiful campground with easy boat launch and water access. Follow the camp ground rules and there will be no problem with the campground host, Deb.

Pros: close to town, spot 15 was roomy, lots of shade and shore for kids to play at lake, bathrooms very clean.

Cons: camp host is new this year, she is a power control freak. She was unpleasant to say the least. We ended up leaving 3 days early because she was not very nice. Grass wasn’t mowed, boat parking is pretty far from camp sites.
We won’t be going back there again!

Our site was absolutely lovely (1) and we had a great time. Great water views. The volunteer host was also a very lovely and helpful woman. I have no complaints about the actual site! It was very clean, no debris, and had the perfect ratio of sun and shade throughout the day. Bathrooms were as clean as can be expected, and had plenty of TP and hand sanitizer. Unfortunately, people are disrespectful of rules and others, but what is new I guess. It is a very family friendly place, so tons of kids running around and screaming, lots of people blaring music from their boats while parked right next to us, and many others not following quiet rules late into the night. Again, unfortunate, but there is nothing to be done about this and it is not exclusive to this site. We had a wonderful time and will visit again during a week, instead of the weekend. I would definitely recommend!

Quiet out of the way place with only 17 spots and close to the water.

Our campsite overlooked the lake, was a beautiful spot. Unfortunately, local visitors also liked the spot in front of our camper. They were loud and stayed up having “fun” until 2 in the morning.

We were fortunate enough to get a lakeside campsite at last minute, probably due to a cancellation. It was beautiful despite the smokey skies. Our grandchildren had a ball and so did we!
