What Guests Are Saying
Anna Creek Cabin offers a spacious and comfortable retreat, accommodating large groups with a roomy interior, comfortable mattresses, and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the clean outhouse and the beautiful Montana scenery, along with the peaceful, phone-free environment. While some found cleanliness issues from previous renters and noted limited privacy, most enjoyed their stay and the amenities provided, including outdoor seating and campfire areas.

Absolutely fantastic/breathtaking. It seems they've completed the updates/upgrades to the cabin as it's far from a work in progress now... brand new, plush couches, relatively comfortable mattresses (those that have stayed in similar cabins know the bar can be low!), and an absolutely breathtaking view of the reservoir and surrounding mountains. I was ready to book my next stay here after the very first night, it was fantastic. Oh, and finally for those concerned about the unpaved portion of the road... I can see it being a bit treacherous in rainy season, and it does have some potholes, but even after aiming for every single one in our rental crossover it still had no issues... bottom line, it might get a bit rougher depending on weather but I saw several locals rip buy in compact/4 door cars, and especially I wouldn't worry about taking a rental car of any kind down it.

This cabin was wonderful and a truly a great place for gathering a group of friends. The road to the cabin well maintained and accessible for any car. The setting is beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Excellent views from the living room and dining area, early morning is the best. The road is very close and there is a lot of traffic and dust. We actually made a game of guessing which way the vehicles were traveling! Five stars for the nice clean vault toilet! A propane fridge (like at Fairview Ranger Station) would up my cabin rating to five stars. A little mouse gave us big trouble :)

I'm giving a 4 star review because yes, the heaters did not work. When I was visiting at a nearby ranger station, the ranger I spoke with said the cabin is still a "work in progress"--and I must say that is something they ought to work on. But the lights do give off a decent amount of heat (at least for early autumn), and if you stay there in the summer, this will all be a non-issue.
Overall, it's a good cabin. There is plenty of light from the large windows in the main room with views of the reservoir, and it is well-furnished. The bunk room makes you feel like you're at summer camp, but better. If it hadn't been raining much of the time I was there, I would have sat on the porch, and lifted a drink to the sunset.
And it has a good location for various activities in the Flathead--or just down the road. A previous guest wrote in the guest book recommending nearby Graves Creek Falls, and provided directions. I hadn't ever heard of it before, but I followed her advice, and it was well worth it.
Finally, the road was--and I am fairly learned in the way of gravel roads, so you can trust me--not that bad.

I couldn't even make it to the cabin because, unbeknownst to me, the last 12 miles or so of road were not only unpaved, but also ravaged with potholes and rocks. I was driving a rental car, and the combined 24 miles to and from would likely have damaged the vehicle far beyond the cost of the cabin rental, so I ended up just eating the cost and getting a hotel instead.
I really don't like to leave one-star reviews, and I'm sure the cabin itself is fine, but it would have been nice to be forewarned of the abysmal road conditions, which do not seem to be mentioned on the park site.

heaters did not work, lights put out some heat, until the co2 detector went off. Fire pit was the warmest place to be. We paid for two nights but only stayed for one.
