We have stayed at Hungry Horse for the past 8 years. This was our first visit to Lid Creek and it was by far the best camping experience. Ron, the host, was great, the bathroom was the cleanest I’ve seen in years. The campground was very quiet and accessible to the lake was great. I recommend reservations.

Camp host was very friendly and active. Bathrooms were clean and actually smelled great, considering. Sites were very private, beach was very clean and well maintained. Probably one of the best camp experiences I have had in a long time, will definitely be returning! Top tier camping, quite possibly my new favorite spot! From Calgary Alberta.

Loved the remoteness of the cg. 40 min drive to main road. Beautiful setting. Lots of wildlife. And Ron was a wonderful gracious host that made us feel very welcome!

People running generators from 7:00 a.m. until well after dark. Dogs running loose unleashed. People driving wrong way up one way road causing blockages, Poor experience.

Campsite was nice and quiet with an easy walk to the reservoir. The reservoir is beautiful! Bathroom was clean. There was no water available at site so bring your own to put out your fire. Camp host was friendly. The spot for the tent was really bumpy and uneven so we ended up putting the tent on the parking spot behind the car.

Beautiful, spacious, and quiet campsites. We stayed in multiple campgrounds that were within an hour of Glacier National Park throughout the week and Lid Creek was our favorite.
