I had the absolute best time camping at Lid Creek Campground while visiting Glacier National Park. While it's about an hour drive to the west entrance of the park, it is worth the drive to enjoy a primitive camping experience away from the crowds. Linda, the camp host was amazing. She beebops around the campground in her golf cart greeting everyone and making sure the bathrooms are in tip top shape! Seriously, the cleanest pit toilets I've seen. We had a great chat upon my arrival. I was camping alone and I really appreciated her taking such great care of the campground and the people staying there. There's no potable water at the campground so make sure you fill up beforehand. You can always stop by Lost Johnny's about 5 miles before Lid Creek to fill up there. This was not a huge inconvenience at all. You can also swim right from camp in the reservoir! Camp was quiet and neighbors were friendly. Thank you, Linda for taking such great care of everyone at Lid Creek. You rock!

What a great campground! Most of the sites are very private, and ours was really close to the water. It was quiet, beautiful, secluded, and we had a blast. This was our first time at Lid Creek and we will definitely be back.

Very nice secluded campground. It’s paved most of the the way but the turnoff is dirt road and pretty bumpy. The host was nice she stop by and talked to us and she kept the bathroom cleans.

I have been camping at Lid for over 16 years. The only beef I have is you need to fix the dust ! Other campers don't have the respect to drive in a slow manor. Mostly out of state people that don't care . As you can see I'm a local from Kalispell . Camp host puts signs up but people cant read. Other than that I love camping their.

The area is beautiful, but the host was terrible. He was into partying with women instead of being the host. There were sever sites that had 4 or more cars and multiple parties, that were not group sites. Campers were leaving food out unattended and animals were eating the food. Rest rooms were dirty because there were more people staying in the sites than there should be, and the host was gone a lot of the time. I dislike that this site was being ran by a private company who really didn't care about the conditions.
