Great small camp ground on the lake. It’s out there for sure. Pit toilets are about it for facilities but we’re clean and dry. Dan the Host is awesome and gave us some good info about the area. Be sure to stop for breakfast at Carolyn’s for breakfast while you are in the area.

Campsite was great -- quiet, shady, near the water, level, all that we hoped for. And the campground host was excellent. He was friendly and accessible, offered assistance, and was otherwise respectful and discreet. I'd definitely come back.

The campground is a 35-40 minute drive south from the main road (US Highway 2). The last mile is down a heavily rutted and pot holed dirt road. Hungry Horse reservoir is next to campground for swimming and boating. Campground hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Great location. The campground was clean and close to the reservoir. A lot of trees and shade. Does take a bit of driving to get from the dam to the campground.

Nice, clean campground on a beautiful reservoir up in the mountains. Easy swimming and boating access.
Only downside I have is that it's 40 minutes up a winding, little road to the nearest town which is Hungry Horse. Makes access to other parts up there quite the journey every time.

Great location, really close to Glacier. The camp hosts were fantastic...
Only issue - the site numbering on the on-line map does not match the actual physical locations of the sites. We had selected site 14, which was supposed to be close to the lake and next to the toilet...it was not lake side and not near the toilet. Not huge issues but just be aware.
