Beautiful camp site!!! The lake is absolutely stunning! The camp sites are spaced a little strange for tents, seems like their more suited for RVs, that's the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. The camp host was amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Cleanest bathrooms.

Beautiful setting. Short walk to Hungry Horse Reservoir, beautiful sunrises & sunsets. No water available. Toilets were kept clean & camp hosts were always available.

It is a beautiful campground with well-shaded private spots. Very quiet. Beach area to sit or kayak and the road was paved all the way to the turn off. We will plan to go back.

Such a beautiful place to camp with the family! The host was very sweet and knowledgeable, the lake was gorgeous, and the ATT cell coverage was a solid 3 bars the entire time.

Always a beautiful location. This year the Flathead National Forest was very busy given the COVID-19 challenges. While the campground was clean and well maintained, some of the surrounding beaches on the reservoir had trash left by previous campers. Please pack out what you pack in!

There are additional charges you have to pay. Even after you paid the full amount on their web site.

Major conflict between what the web site charges you in advance, and the extra money the camp host collects after you arrive.

I had the absolute best time camping at Lid Creek Campground while visiting Glacier National Park. While it's about an hour drive to the west entrance of the park, it is worth the drive to enjoy a primitive camping experience away from the crowds. Linda, the camp host was amazing. She beebops around the campground in her golf cart greeting everyone and making sure the bathrooms are in tip top shape! Seriously, the cleanest pit toilets I've seen. We had a great chat upon my arrival. I was camping alone and I really appreciated her taking such great care of the campground and the people staying there. There's no potable water at the campground so make sure you fill up beforehand. You can always stop by Lost Johnny's about 5 miles before Lid Creek to fill up there. This was not a huge inconvenience at all. You can also swim right from camp in the reservoir! Camp was quiet and neighbors were friendly. Thank you, Linda for taking such great care of everyone at Lid Creek. You rock!
