This CG is in a beautiful setting with lots of trees and close to the water with a decent beach. The host/hostess is part time so bathrooms and sites weren’t adequately attended to. Our site, #18, had quite a slope so thankfully we had plenty of blocks to lift and level. Some sites are narrow and short so be aware when reserving. We will definitely come back but probably pick a different site.

Awesome campsite, and very cool being right next to Hungry Horse Reservoir and an easy drive into Glacier Nat Park. Nice bathrooms and the campsites are spaced out well. The ground is really tough, so if you're tent camping, just know you likely won't be able to drive stakes into the ground. They had a bear box for food storage, campfire ring, picnic table. My buddy had decent internet, but with verizon I only had like 1 bar of service. Overall though it was a great campsite, and I'd def come back and recommend this campsite to friends as well. Driving over the Dam was super cool as well.

Such a beautiful location and great, private sites. We appreciated how clean the toilet areas were, and the host on site was very pleasant. The proximity to the reservoir was amazing! Everything was very quiet in the mornings and at night. The only feedback we have would be that people did not keep their dogs on leashes and that is a rule and an expectation.

It was about a 30 min drive from the highway to the campground but it was a beautiful spot. We'd stay there again.

Love the location. More remote but the boat launch needs work

We have stayed at Hungry Horse for the past 8 years. This was our first visit to Lid Creek and it was by far the best camping experience. Ron, the host, was great, the bathroom was the cleanest I’ve seen in years. The campground was very quiet and accessible to the lake was great. I recommend reservations.
