Ken and Lynn were great hosts. Everything was kept up well and very clean. Very nice campground.

Nice CG. Sites are spaced nicely. Restrooms were clean and odor-free. Sites were litter-free. Hosts doing a very good job!
Lake views were obstructed or non-existant from most sites, though.

Overgrown and more primitive than we realized, brush was basically touching our truck and camper, and the fire ring was so far away we couldn’t see it from our camper. The sites are very small with little room for kids to play. Mosquitos were unbearable, some campers near us actually left after one night because of them. My kids, my husband and I were all bitten multiple times and it was a miserable trip unfortunately. The saving grace was the beach, it’s awesome, we spent the entire weekend there, even cooked there because we couldn’t be near our campsite because of mosquitos.

Beautiful location. Camp hosts were very welcoming. We stayed in Campsite 18 which was actually lower than the parking area, so just be aware that not all sites are easily accessible for all abilities. We car camped which is fine, but I would have liked a site that was level with the parking area. Bugs were pretty heavy but we were lucky to have some rain that kept them at bay. Very quiet and relaxing, with close access to the boat ramp/lake access. Our site didn't have bear boxes so we kept everything in our car, but just be aware that the bear boxes are limited in the campground. Overall, a very beautiful, quiet and relaxing location!
Of Note: Cell service limited (Verzion), can be buggy, limited bear boxes, a bit of a drive from town so get supplies in Hungry Horse or other locations.
