What Guests Are Saying
The cabin is well-maintained and equipped, making it convenient for guests. However, there are issues with mice and bugs, and the presence of mosquitoes can be bothersome. It's important to use updated maps for navigation and to be mindful of packing out food and trash.

I believe we were the first guests this summer. Appreciate the USFS making the place so pristine despite having a limited work force this summer. Keep up the good work. Appreciate you guys!

Please make sure you have updated maps. Our older Bob Marshall and USGS maps were not accurate. The cabin is on your right several hundred yards after the intersection with the Silvertip Creek trail.
No need to pack in any cooking gear. The cabin is well equipped.
Please pack out all of your food and trash. We ended up packing out a gallon ziplock of dogfood that was left behind and became a mouse magnet.

Great place but a lot of mice. We had 3-4 different ones in the cabin at all times. The cabin was clean except for all the bugs in the window sills.

Skeeters were terrible, no view, hummingbird buzzing around being annoying; would not recommend.

We locked all our food and trash in the cupboards and didn't have any mice issues.

A few mouse friends, so don’t leave food out in the kitchen and boil and/or sanitize pans. Make sure and bring sheets for each bed as the mattresses are a little nasty. We had a great stay minus a few minor inconveniences. A small walk to the river, but beautiful area and some great trails to ride!
