What Guests Are Saying

Emery Bay Campground offers a beautiful location with great lake access, friendly and professional camp hosts, and well-maintained facilities including clean bathrooms. While the campground is peaceful and ideal for kayaking or paddleboarding, access involves a rough, unpaved road that can be challenging for some vehicles. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, cleanliness, and the proximity to Glacier National Park, making it a popular choice despite minor inconveniences.

Beautiful spot, close to glacier, but someone stole our lantern and solar shower. Not cool.

Fantastic host at Emery Bay. Frank was friendly, helpful and kept the camp clean and organized. Small campground, and lucky enough to have a site with direct access to beautiful reservoir/ lake.

The host family was super nice, good facilities, and great location. The campsites were pretty spread apart, so while we were camping in a busy spot, it felt like we were alone.

Large campsites especially for a tent which we were using. Right on the water so could easily launch a kayak from the site. Hosts were helpful. The only downside I guess would be the dirt road coming in would probably be terrible for a car, and our site was right next to day use site so people were walking by the tent to get to the water, not a huge deal, but I could see some people getting upset about that.

We had a beautiful spot on the lake (#7). The lake was super nice with very few boaters and a beautiful emerald color! We kayaked the lake for two and a half hours and didn't come close to getting around any of it.... It is really huge. The host was exceptionally nice and helpful. Besides the washboard road for 4 mi to access the campground, everything else was perfect!

It was a decent site. Cute and with easy access to take a dip in the resevoir. Woudl recommend it for a stop before entering Glacier National Park, and only a stoip, as there is not much to do/ see in the area it woudl seem

Group B site was good, the best part was a shared spot between group A and B that we got to use since no one was using group A site during our stay. It was a nice secluded spot with nice grass and good shade in the morning and evening. The boat dock was close and very few boats on the reservoir. We had a great time!

We were never able to get to this campground as the road that gave you the shortest access was closed and the alternate route was not suitable to a class C. No refund because it was less than 24 hours. That should have been an alert on this website.

The water may have been potable, but not drinkable, horrible taste of tank water.
the vault toilet smelled of cherry cough syrup, recommend another cleaner/air freshener.
The tent campsite we were on had no trees or bushes between us and the next site. The tent areas by us were less than 20 ft apart. Luckily, no one camped there while we were there, but otherwise, it would have been crazy close. Other tent sites had lovely shade and privacy, I recommend making this an RV site. It is 20 min from the west entrance to Glacier, it is nicely off the beaten path. The reservoir is lovely and allows motor boats.
