What Guests Are Saying

Emery Bay Campground offers a beautiful location with great lake access, friendly and professional camp hosts, and well-maintained facilities including clean bathrooms. While the campground is peaceful and ideal for kayaking or paddleboarding, access involves a rough, unpaved road that can be challenging for some vehicles. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, cleanliness, and the proximity to Glacier National Park, making it a popular choice despite minor inconveniences.

3+ miles of washboard gravel road to the campground. Once there, our spit was occupied by 8-10 people using it as a day picnic area. We couldn’t get into the spot! No host around! Terrible experience! We left!

Unfortunately upon arrival our first night. Our site was occupied for hours with a simple not asking the people to move. No ranger or camp host to discuss solutions with. Disappointing.

We did not realize that we had reserved a group spot. But we really like the fact that we had the whole site to our selves. The camp host was great. Really enjoyed the beautiful lake even though it did rain two of the three days we were there. Great access to Glacier National Park.

The campsites are well maintained and easy to find. Comes with a big picnic table and fire pit. Quiet and gorgeous area and the lake is BEAUTIFUL. Would definitely go back. Dan, the camp host, was very nice and helpful! Went to Glacier National Park the next morning, it was about a 20min drive.

Emery Bay is beautiful but when we got there there was no campground host. Everyone in the park was looking for someone that knew anything. Some were looking for fire wood but the hosts that had left locked everything up. We couldn't even throw away our trash because they had locked the trash cans as well. There were alot of unhappy campers there due to this. We stayed one night and left.

Beautiful, private sites, wonderful camp hosts, excellent view of and access to the reservoir, and close enough to town to get supplies and phone service within a short drive, but far enough away to really be in nature.

Loved staying at this campsite. Clean site and clean vault toilet bathroom. Sites are far enough apart from eachother and just steps down to a quiet lakefront with mountain views. So peaceful. The camp host greeted us at our site when we got there and were friendly and attentive through our stay. Short drive to GNP!
