What Guests Are Saying
Big Larch Campground features clean, spacious sites, well-maintained facilities, and a great location near Seeley Lake, making it a wonderful spot for a long weekend or overnight stay. Guests appreciate the proximity to both the lake and the town, as well as the friendly atmosphere and ample room between campsites. However, some visitors reported issues with noise from fellow campers and generator use, particularly during busy holiday weekends.

The campground and beach were super but the bathrooms were terrible. The campground host made rounds daily but did nothing more than add toilet paper. His side by side was loaded with cleaning supplies but if you went to the bathroom after he stopped by one you can see he didn’t use any of them. I understand when you’re camping the bathrooms won’t be perfect but you pay a fee to stay there which should include decent bathrooms. We have stayed in lots of these types of campgrounds in multiple states and this one was by far the worst. The host needs to do the full job he is paid to do.

Most sites don't have a lot of trees, if any, but we greatly enjoyed our stay in early August. Sites are spaced nicely apart. The best part was the day use area with lots of shade, picnic tables and lake access and a walking trail. There is also a boat launch at the other end of the campground. There were deer in the campground and we saw beaver in Seeley Lake. The town of Seeley Lake had everything we needed, including a dump station at the Lindey's Steak House parking lot. A "must see" was Gus the famous big larch tree.

Nice quiet campground. My only complaint is the cement posts lining the road made it pretty hard to get the pickup and trailer backed into our space. But once we got wiggled around and got backed in, the site was nice and level.

Picked a spot that was easy to back into with our 5th wheel. Nice and quiet while we were there.

Had a good time, the sites were spread out enough that we weren't up in everyone else's business but close enough that my family could share two adjacent ones without strain. The day use area was nice, facilities were clean, and overall it seemed well kept
