We left early. Camped next to the host who was making picnic benches and sawing all day. We had to ask him to stop and it felt very uncomfortable afterwards. He did stop for one day :/ Others in the campground were upset about it too. We went camping for quiet and relaxation. We work in the trades so saws and hammering were not what we wanted to hear while camping. Also the campground is over run by mosquitos .

Awesome campground! Sites are very wooded and situated where you feel like you are the only one in the campground. The host was absolutely the best camp host I’ve encountered. Definitely will be back!

Made reservations and turns out I picked a spot by another camper who ran his loud generator during my napping hours. Ugh!

The lake is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained. The campsite was spacious and there were trees and bushes to provide privacy. But the experience was ruined by an arrogant host Chuck Jantzen. He was rude, intimidating, loud, condescending. We had reserved and paid for 3 nights online. He kept coming around and demanding that we put cash money in the box to pay for an extra "camper". We had 1 camper but since my vehicle was a van and I could potentially sleep in it, he wanted me to pay $44 per night instead of the regular $22. I asked for clarification twice. I have an access pass due to 100 percent permanent disability, which grants half price fees. He agreed that I had paid enough online. Then he came back yelling at me to pay. He demanded that I show him the access pass, then asked what my disability is. I believe that is illegal. My ptsd was through the roof, so I left the campground a day early. The next day I went to enjoy the lake with my family and he found me there and yelled at me to pay the money. Meanwhile, another man working there told me that he harasses people for extra cash fees and keeps it for himself. I did pay the extra. NFS, please find another company to manage this beautiful property.
