My three kids, 9,7,6, stayed the night at the look and absolutely loved it. The view was beautiful and the stars were worth staying up for. As a note, there is a gate that you need to use the combination on. After you are through the gate, then you can drive to end of the road. Once the road ends, it is a 1/4 mi hike up to the lookout. Have fun!

The trip to the Lookout is long. Make sure your vehicle has plenty of gas and you have what you need to camp minus going back to town. Once at the top - you’ll need to be prepared to walk/hike up another 1/2 - 3/4 mi, which is relatively steep. The views are beautiful and worth the trip!
