Beautiful campground. Large spots with good spacing. Nice little village walking distance. Lots of pathways that are dog friendly (even if national park is not). Our only complaint, and it is important, is that they only have 3 showers for a very large and busy campground. This is totally inadequate when there is so much to see in and around the park that it takes multiple days to really appreciate.

The campground was clean and we were able to fit 2 tents and 2 cars in our site. The hosts/rangers did a nice job of greeting campers and going over the rules and regulations especially being Bear aware. More showers are needed. Only 3 for one loop was not enough. We enjoyed our stay.

We were able to get a last minute campsite while on a road trip. Unfortunately we didn’t know that we couldn’t drive anywhere in the park without a vehicle reservation. We had hoped to go to Lake McDonald Lodge for lunch and weren’t able to.

Nice spot, fairly private and quiet. Camp host was nice. Bathrooms were clean but in terrible disrepair. It appears they have not been updated since the early 60s.

Price was right ($15 with senior discount), but we were not impressed. could not level our van, and most spaces did not look even close to level. Restrooms needed a good cleaning and painting. We had previously been in Banff at the Canadian National Parks campgrounds, which were much nicer for not much more money.
