We were at A31 and VERY close to the only showers available in the campground. With only 3 available it was tricky to find one open and waiting was common. Nice big site with plenty of room to pitch two tents along with a hammock and clothesline. Neighbors were farther away than at Many Glacier but more traffic in the road in front of our site here. We could hear traffic from Going To The Sun Road easily but it quieted in the later evening. Overall a very nice campground!

I had a great stay. The campsites in Apgar are bigger than Many Glacier, which I know are hard to get. There are three free showers available in Apgar located near campsite A26--so, if you want easy access to showers then I recommend finding a campsite near there as walking there may be somewhat of an inconvenience (<10 min. walking). I just drove to it since there is parking available for a handful of vehicles. The showers are pretty spacious and plenty of hot water available. There is a walking/biking path straight out of loop C (this campsite) that goes directly to the Apgar Information center and Apgar village--maybe a 10 min. walk away. Only thing supplied in bathrooms are toilet paper; I think some restrooms may have hand sanitizer available but don't count on it. There is also a gray water area dump for dishwater and such located in the center of each restroom (can't dump food in there). The amphitheater is also about a 10 minute walk away from the campsite.

Our campsite was close to a great swim beach at Lake MacDobald, the campground hosts were friendly and knowledgeable, we were allowed to have a campfire and the weather was great. A one-night stay, but beautiful and memorable1
