Nice, convenient campsite. Walking distance to village, which was good as there was no parking there. We had a great time at the swimming beach by the picnic area also. Could use a couple more showers… was quite a line

Great experience. We were in the D loop. While a bit of a walk to the showers (A loop) and waterfront, its not too far and there is parking if you would rather drive. Very few mosquitos and flies (middle of July). Potable water close by and toilets and sinks with running water easily accessible. Campground is well shaded with trees and very close to visitor center, the lake, Going to the Sun road, and other aspects of Glacier.

Our site was listed for 8 people but it definitely was not an 8 person site. Could barely fit two tents. Got in trouble for not using tent pad but literally had no other space for second tent. The tent pad could fit maybe two, 2 person backpacking tents.
The first ranger we spoke with failed to give us the detailed info for the site, so we got yellow carded.
Had to use a shared bear box which wasn’t near camp which was frustrating. Wish each site had their own bear box since literally everything has to go in them.
Bathrooms and free showers were a nice surprise. Apgar village is a fun place to explore.
We did have a black bear poking around our camp, so beware.

Pull through are very slanted and impossible to level. My wife fell and injured her shoulder because of the slant.

The restrooms in the campground are rundown, dirty, lacking soap, missing stall door and broken toilet.
