This was an end of the season stay. We had a wonderful time, the campground was quiet. Lake McDonald does not disappoint!

Only primitive camping in October so no access to water, showers, spouts, fill/dump station, etc.
Other than that, the campsite and campground were great.

I enjoyed staying here and it is close to the lake with easy access. Here at end of September so the general area was not busy, although the inky campground open in GNP and the campground was pretty full but still some spots open in person. There was a bathroom close to where I was staying but it was locked so we all were walking to a small 1stall each Male and Female and often times there was a line both days I stayed, or Males going into female ( it’s really all the same just mentioning) because theirs was already taken-the bathroom situation made the experience less but it’s also minor to me but maybe not to others who may have mobility issues, it was a couple minute walk to the open bathroom. I stayed in B089. Overall I’m glad the campground was open and I enjoyed my stay, and would return.
