The welcome volunteers were very kind and helpful and informative. The bathrooms could be a bit improved with a hand soap dispenser. It was nice and quite in the evenings and the mornings. It is also convenient to the beach at McDonald Lake.

We came in late and had no trouble finding our campsite. The site are good size and with level spaces for tents. In the morning the campground host came around herself to check us in and tell us all about the campsite. If every loop had a shower and a dishwashing sink, I would've give this campsite five stars.

Very large and convenient campground which many facilities and close to major attractions. Showers were warm, proximity to Apgar village was a great bonus, and not needing to go far to access the visitor center or Lake McDonald was great. Would happily return.

I grew up going to Glacier and we come several times each summer. We love everything about it, enjoying a motor boat ride, the trails including Rocky Point, walking around Fishcreek, Trail of the Cedars, Avalanche Lake, the trail along McDonald Creek that follows the creek, and going up to Logan Pass. The scenery is always so beautiful. We also enjoy the lake and paddle boarding. Bicycle riding the bike trail and heading over to the ranger station and around the bridge of the river is also fun. So many things to do and not enough vacation time to fit it all in. Don’t forget all of the trails on the east side too!! We also enjoy a little huckleberry picking when it’s a great year for them. Our legs get tired but it sure is FUN!😃❤️

Quiet campground. We enjoyed our large pull-through site. Walkable to the amphitheater.

Nice organized Campground that isn't fully exposed. Also easy to locate since it is the first site on your right when you turn into the respective row.

Very nice campground. Lots of shade. Camp sites are pretty close together, but that’s to be expected in a public campground like this but relatively quiet. The camp host and everybody is really nice and friendly. Had a great time.

Site # 54 does not have Tent Pad (all of other sites have it). We have to put tent on the ground but the ground has so many tree roots and slopes and it is very difficult to find a good place for tent ~~~ Finally we put tent at left side of Camp fire ring and stayed 2 nights only though I made a reservation of three (3) nights.... I strongly suggest Camp manager to build tent pad for this site ~~~ Except tent pad, everything was good, especially hot water shower facility ~~~~ thanks ~~~
