Limited ability to wash dishes due to only one dump sink in large campground. No hand soap in bathrooms. Shared bear boxes.

campground it self is nice. however, for a campground this big you need more showers than just 2 for 200 camp sites. There apparently were 3 showers but one of them was closed leaving only 2. Also, the bathrooms had no soap dispenser at all and not very clean.
the same applies to fish creek in which we stayed for 1 day, the bathrooms were filthy, the showers had cold water and if you were lucky to get any hot water if someone else in another shower you hot water would go away. Again no soap dispensers in the bathrooms.
based upon the condition of your facilities I should be refunded the money i paid to stay in these 2 campgrounds

Apgar is a lovely campground very near the park entrance at West Glacier. The campsites are spacious and not too close to neighbors. Clean restrooms and easy walk to the village. A train passes through town, so you hear train whistles day and night, which could be charming if you like trains, or annoying if you're hoping for a wilderness experience, which Apgar is NOT. Contrary to what was advertised, not all sites have tent pads, and our site (B-72) was small and only had space for 1 tent. We had to pitch the other on the gravel parking space, which was not great. We brought kayaks and it was really easy to get our boats inspected at 7:00 am at the station just right outside the entrance to the campground. We parked at the day-use lot on Lake McDonald and put the boats in there. Gorgeous lake, and best to paddle in the am, as the wind picks up. We will be back, and have noted the more spacious sites that can accommodate two large tents. WiFi available at the Apgar Visitor's Center. If you don't have a vehicle permit for Going to the Sun Road, Recreation.gov makes permits available at 7 pm sharp the night before. Go to the VC with your device and log in at 7:00...you will likely get a permit, as did everyone gathered there for the same purpose. We did not experience the insanity of crowds and lack of parking we had been warned about. Maybe because all the regulations are working. It was very pleasant all the way around, and spectacular scenery. Wow!

Had a wonderful stay in Apgar. The sites were huge the biggest we stayed at on our entire trip. There were campground hosts and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. We are new to the whole camping thing and they explained everything. The bathrooms were really clean. There is a nice walking path to the village. Absolute amazing stay!!!

Pleasantly surprised at how spacious the campsite was and how spread out the campground overall felt for being so large. Only stayed one night but was impressed. One star off for the nearest bathroom being closed and the ranger not knowing.

A scenic, beautifully designed campground. Very friendly camp host. No complaints at all other than there were only two showers in operation during my stay which meant I waited over one hour for a shower. Happy to wait, but one hour seemed excessive. Overall, still a great stay and I would happily return.
