Recreation.gov was absolutely no help it getting a camping spot in mid-April. Their application site on a Computer would not work. It kept showing the dates I needed as not available and I knew they were.
I discovered from another camper that I should try the phone app rather than the computer. That worked.

Apgar was fantastic!! my poor rating is a reflection my continued poor experience with Recreation.gov. There continues to be a significant disconnect between your website and reality on the ground. Its a shame NPS forces campers to use recreation.gov. Your website would not allow me to book 1 site for multiple nights. I could book multiple sites, a new one each night, but nobody wants to moves sites each night knowing very well that the campground would be 90% empty this time of the year. You website is rather horrible for campers like me. The campsite was 95% empty when I got there.
