The campground was quiet, and the camp hosts (A and D) were so friendly and helpful. Loved that we could walk to the Village with a protected trail, and that dogs were allowed on that specific trail. We were so close to Lake MacDonald, and that was a treat.

200 campsites and 3 working showers, only 1 with hot water! The Ranger explained it had been closed for YEARS! Way too congested to even see the sights in Glacier NP. Only had lottery reservations I had to made 6 months in advance. Underdeveloped parking areas and general use areas. Vista points and the overlooks are way overgrown, no longer suitable for public access/use. Too many campsite rules. Charged us for a 5 stars experience but delivered a one star disappointment .

Site 10 has 3 tent pads, 2 picnic tables, and a bear box a few steps up a hill. No privacy from site 8. The other hiker-biker sites C144 and C146 looked nicer.
