The night sky at this park is incredible. The campground was decent, you could see your neighbors but the sites weren't on top of each other, but you don't want to spend a ton of time at the campground anyways if you're at this park. There's just too much to see. I liked the Highline Trail at Logan Pass, but it's hard to go wrong with hikes here. I did find a place to eat just outside the park that's worth checking out just outside the entrance called the Glacier Highland Restaurant. Prices seemed decent and food was great. Overall, this park is fantastic and I think it might be my favorite. I hope to return.

We were unable to get a reservation for more than one night in our late season visit (Oct). In fact, we got the last reserved spot for the day we booked. Upon arrival, we realized there was only one vault toilet for men and one for women for the entire campground. Needless to say, there was a line to use these toilets in the morning. Further, the next morning revealed that there were at least 6 sites that went unoccupied the prior night in spite of those reserved spots being taken.

With no parking at the Ranger "Check in station", it was unclear how to "check in" after I had found my campsite, which was a long, long walk from the Ranger Building at Loop A.
Why cannot soap be provided at the sinks in the Bathrooms?
Rangers were all very knowledgeable, polite and answered all my questions.
