Very beautiful campground, and our camp spot felt pretty private despite the proximity to many other campsites. Good amenities and a very friendly host!

The first day the showers were freezing cold! We went during morning hours the following days and there was warmer water!

Bathrooms were closed, so three porta-potties were set-up right outside the facilities. Really appreciated that the lights were left on in the facilities to provide some light into the porta-potties.
Non-Generator loop meant that the sites were in general much more quiet than other sites I have stayed at.
Lots of water pumps available; short walk down to Lake McDonald - would definitely camp in this loop again. :)

Camping in Glacier NP is great, no matter where you are, because it puts you in proximity to the gorgeous mountains, but Fish Creek in particular is a pretty tight camping area. You will be right next to the next tent/camper over from you. Backs right up to the Rocky Point hiking trail, which is an easy hike to a great lookout of the lake. The biggest downside to this campsite was the mosquitoes. We went over Memorial Day weekend, and they were the size of dimes and covered the whole area and hiking trail. I saw one family pack up and leave the same day they were so covered up in them even with bug spray. But... other than that, it's better to camp in the park than outside of the park! And the staff is fantastic. Props to all the volunteers, staff, and rangers. They do a great job.

We had such a wonderful stay. We e‑biked the Going‑to‑the‑Sun Road, kayaked on beautiful Lake McDonald, and took the short but lovely hike to Rocky Point right by the campground. We also really enjoyed the Avalanche Trail.

The proximity to the lake was amazing, just about 50 short steps and you are at the waters edge with absolutely gorgeous views. On the other side it was a close proximity to the bathrooms which is good for convenience but also makes the noise and traffic busier. The site itself was pretty good, small pad for a tent, ours was a little larger for our family so we had to pitch it in the "driveway" where a car would normally pull through. Plenty of trees to hang hammocks on though. There are only showers available in one building of one loop and two of the four were out of service so there were long lines if you wanted one, otherwise no lines at 5am when I went. Beautiful campground though, would stay here again if I had the opportunity.

Loved this campground. Clean and very easy to walk the trails around the campground. Sites are spacious enough for a family of 4 with a big tent. Clean bathrooms. My kids loved the evening shows by the very talented, educated staff. Campground at the very bottom of the "going to the sun" road. Overall we were very happy and will be camping there again.

The campground was right on lake McDonald, which was gorgeous. The facilities had everything we needed too!

Prettiest place on earth! We could only get a spot for one night as it is also the busiest place on earth. Loved kayaking on Lake MacDonald and soaking up the sun. The ice cream at Eddy’s in Apgar is amazing. Hope to stay longer on our next visit.
