5 mi down a gravel road means there is no highway noise and more of a wilderness experience! There is a great trailhead right next to the camp. Camp sites are nice and well taken care of.

Small campground, basic flush toilet and sink. No shower, no cell service. Sites aren’t very level. Good for people that want to tent camp in small groups, not good for bigger groups or self contained vehicles

Nice spot for a quieter experience away from the craziness at the more accessible campgrounds. Great, underrated trail nearby and not that far from anything else on the east side.

The campground had decent bathrooms. Some shelves and hooks would have been helpful while washing up. Great location - close to Lake McDonald and Lake McDonald lodge. You do hear traffic on the road but not too bad at night. I would recommend, but it is quite basic.

I love Sprague Creek. It was definitely the best campground for me.

I sleep in a hammock and I would definitely advise anyone who does sleep in a hammock to check the pictures of the site you're looking to review to ensure that there are trees where you can hang the hammock over gravel, which is what the campground requests. Most of the trees are soft barks so be sure to bring wide tree straps.

The campground is right next to the lake with multiple paths down to the lake so you can watch the sunset. Because there are no RVs, you don't have to worry about generators, or people staying up? Partying?.
