We had a beautiful site that was a great size for our truck and trailer. The restrooms were close by and kept quite clean. St Mary campground is conveniently located to many of Glacier's sites, and it's a relatively easy drive up to Logan Pass from there. It is also about a 30 minute drive to the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park.
If there was anything that was slightly a downside was the showers. There were 4 showers available for the entire campground, so there was often a wait.

The ranger talk was excellent. The women’s room for C Loop has one working cold water faucet

LOVE this campground! It's so close to the east entrance of the park, there's a great spot to put into the river or fly fish right by the gate, and if you want food or fuel, there's a great gas station, store, and restaurant close by. The view of the sky at night IS the reason to come here! Wide open and absolutely stunning! Also, not that we really cared about it, but this was one of the few places we had great cell service in the park.

Great views of the mountains beyond, but wide open sites and little privacy between. The bathhouses and showers were older, kept clean, but in need of updating. Nice campground Ranger programs.

Convenient and nicely spaced sites. We were lucky to get spaces that had cancellations for 2 nights. We would definitely stay again. We like the east side of the park - definitely less crowded!

This was a nice, clean campground. No frills, but just what we needed. The views were fantastic. The women's restroom across from our campground was locked during our stay so we had to walk farther down to another restroom. It wasn't awful, just frustrating at first. Restrooms were clean and well maintained.

Water pressure of Portable water at the dump station is very low and it takes looooong time to fill the tank. It creates bottle neck since there is only one portable water station in entire campground

This specific campsite looked so unpleasant we didn’t unpack and went and found a hotel instead. There’s no shade, no privacy (it’s basically a shared space with another site), and the two closest bathrooms were closed.

This site was awesome! Tent was easily sent up, but will warn squirrels loved eating on the branches above our tent and dropping their food on it. The showers and bathrooms were very well maintained. Would definitely stay here again!
