Absolutely incredible campground with amazing access. Had everything I needed within a short walk, people were quiet and there was plenty of views. Would do site R110 or any site I saw there again in a heartbeat.

While is it tricky to get a campsite at Many Glacier, it is well worth the effort. The campsites are average size with a picnic table and fire pit. There are flush toilets on site. Next to the campground is a nice cafe where you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also purchase a shower for $4. The real beauty of Many Glacier campground is that you have immediate access to a variety of hiking trails that take you through beautiful canyons, along mountain streams, to vistas that are very special. The Ptarmigan tunnel trail is really beautiful. It is about 11 miles round trip. At the turn around point you walk through a tunnel through the mountain and emerge on a different overlook that is stunning. Deep canyon walls with a view of a glacier. It is quiet and peaceful at Many Glacier and a hiker's delight.

Absolutely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in a national park. Easy to find, park, set up a fire and enjoy a peaceful night before hiking up to Grinnel. Glacier became one of not my favorite park in the United States and the campground was part of that.

The campsites are fairly close together but everyone was considerate and noise was not a problem. There are plenty of trees so there is shade. There are no grills on the fire pits so plan to cook on a stove. (I was told that the lack of grills was to avoid smells that might attract bears). You should definitely hike the Grinnell Glacier trail if you are physically able. The views are tremendous. I would use this campsite as a base for hiking in the Many Glacier area only. The drive to Logan Pass, for example, is well over an hour and parking there is very limited. If you were planning to hike the Highline Trail at Logan Pass, you would probably have to leave Many Glacier around 5:00 a.m. to have a reasonable chance of finding a parking spot. I would also recommend visiting the Many Glacier Hotel for a meal/drinks and enjoying the views over the lake toward the mountains.

Out of our almost 2 weeks in Glacier Many Glacier was our favorite. A great variety of hiking trails in this area and having the ability to walk everywhere from the campground was so convenient.
We had 2 campsites. One was along the river and had a decent amount of privacy and we wish we had it for more nights. The other wasn't necessarily terrible but was definitely set up weird with the picnic table almost in the parking area between it and another site. Honestly we would have taken any site we could get so no real complaints.
The one item that was a real bother is the hand dryers in the bathrooms. They are so loud! Be prepared if your site is near a bathroom

Bill the camp host was extremely kind and helped us find a better site more suitable for our needs even when the campground was close to if not completely sold out. Very quiet- facilities were very clean.

Gorgeous campground, trails, food and amazing views! The 3+ miles on gravel before getting to the park entrance prevented giving 5 stars.

This campground was on our buckets list for our Glacier trip and although it took a miracle to book a site here last minute, we somehow did it and it was totally worth it! The proximity to so many great hikes and being surrounded by mountains makes this our favorite Glacier campground of the ones we visited. FYI: You do not need to get a Many Glacier road pass if you secure a campground…something we were unsure about until we got there.
