Wasn't allowed to stay, soft sided tents were not allowed due to increased bear activity.

Make sure you understand which sites are really available for popup pickup campers. Entire campground was hard sided only when we arrived, so we had to find a different campground.

Site C121 was very nice. Lots of space for camper and tent. Showers were nice and ranger program was a good one.

I was tempted to give this location 4 stars or 3 stars as this review is underpinned by the fact that we were asked to leave the campground and find other accommodations on short notice due to bear activity while being in a tent after being told by an on-site ranger that we would be fine. However, taking a step back, I realize it is unfair to judge the campground by situational circumstances.
Based upon the facilities offered, and the views available, it is easily a 5 and I would return again. Warm showers make the world go round.

We camped here twice, a week apart. It's a nice site, right next to the trail that goes over the river to the visitor's center. Most sites in A loop were bigger and more isolated from others than at Fish Creek and Many Glaciers. But on Monday and Wednesday nights, there is karaoke at a bar in St. Mary that you can easily here at the campsite. It ends at 10 and I don't know if it is loud other nights.

Wonderful campground. clean bathrooms close to camping sites. Even though the sites are close you still have the privacy due to the trees and foliage, there is a map showing you can walk to the visitor center to caught the shuttle going to Logan’s pass without driving there. The campground was quiet. We stayed 3 days and enjoyed it.

Rangers were wonderful. View wonderful. It was hard sided camping only and still felt safe and great! Attending such a good astrology club meeting.

Enjoyed our two night stay at St Mary’s Campground in Glacier National Park. Good location to stay and catch the shuttle to go to Logan’s Pass.

Nice camp ground close to visitors center. Verify if tent camping will be allowed due to bear activity.
