The sites were closer together than we like but the campground and restrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly.

St. Mary Campground offers a great experience with informative ranger talks, clean facilities, and helpful hosts. Campsites are generally well-maintained, providing privacy and beautiful views, though some sites may require leveling. While some campers noted noise and mosquito issues, the overall ambiance, accessibility to activities, and friendly staff contribute to a positive camping experience.

No individual bear bins per site so you have to haul everything back into your vehicle if you leave the campsite or go to bed. Shared bear bins only close to bathrooms. Restrooms are very clean, flush toilet. Showers are closed due to renovations.

Nice campground. Smaller than the other one we stayed at but I liked it. The shower were “under construction” though.
