St Mary’s is great!! So close to the east entrance and St. Mary’s lodge is you don’t feel like cooking haha.

Enjoyable ambiance. Site required more leveling than we are used to (We are full timers, camping in fee campgrounds about 6 months every year.). Restroom and shower facilities are of average quality. No utilities at site is a negative for us, but the hiking qualities of the park and low fee make us endure the lack of campground amenities.

We had five different sites for six nights at St. Mary. All the sites were easy to access with a Class B camper, all were level without using blocks, all were convenient to our daily hike plans. Easy walking to the Logan Pass shuttle stop at the St. Mary visitor center, the cell service in the campground was good enough so we could reserve shuttle seats at 7 pm the night before.

Great campground. Nightly ranger activities/talks were great! Clean restrooms with warm showers, though a couple of them had knobs that need to be addressed.

Great campground!! Beautiful mountain scenery! Bathrooms are clean and sites are spacious. The camp ranger hosts are very helpful!

The campground was peaceful, and the hosts were great. The 4 showers for the entire campground sometimes require patience to get in. Water is convenient to campsites and the visual separation between sites is good. Sites aren't very large so trying to get 2 compact tents for a famly of 6 into one site created an obstacle course of ropes once they were staked out to brace against the wind.

Overall really enjoyed. Showers were gross but I can’t blame that on the campground staff

Located a half-mile west of the St. Mary entrance near St. Mary, Montana. Access is from U.S. Highway 89 approximately 33 miles (51 km) northwest of Browning, Montana or over Logan Pass when open. Vehicle restrictions are in effect.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
