Beautiful location, quiet campground. Not as nice as Many Glacier, but relatively comparable.

Rangers were very helpful.
Reservation through recreation.gov was flawless.
Campsite was large enough to accommodate a 6 person Kodiak canvas tent and vehicle.
Surrounded by gorgeous views of mountains and wilderness.
Hiking was simple enough to not worry about maps, if you’re able to gauge your distance traveled while dismounted.

We never made it to our reservation at Two Medicine campground. Both of the roads that led into the campground had a 21 foot length restriction on your vehicle so sadly we were over that length and couldn’t access the campsite. Would loved to have know about it before we made the reservation. I guess the roads leading into the park are managed by Montana highways, would of been nice for an alert to be on the NPS website thou as using those roads where the restrictions are in place are the only way to access two medicine campground. We paid for a reservation fee and campground we never used

Loop C should be restricted to tents and RVs under 21 feet. The campsites are hilly and tight with uneven ground (and some sites in Loop B away from the lake are also hilly). In our many years camping there, we have seen more than a few medium to large RVs hit trees trying to pull into sites in Loop C, and others leave because they couldn't find level ground.
There are no showers at Two Medicine. In some bathrooms, the newer water-saving toilets don’t flush properly, and the cleaning is subpar when compared to other campgrounds in the park. Some of the bathrooms still have fixtures from the 1970s. And camping fees increased from $20 to $30, without improvements.
At night, the extremely bright outside lights near the bathrooms ruin the night sky and make it difficult to sleep. You can't turn them off. At times during the day, there are fumes and noise from generators, and some campers don't respect the hours. The ranger does occasionally make the rounds.
The Campstore is minimally stocked and expensive. It closes down in August (the last week), which is early. The drive into East Glacier is 14 miles of bumpy road. There are no large grocery stores (only a small mercantile, which is also overpriced), but there are 4-5 restaurants. The nearest decent grocery store is in Browning on the Blackfeet Reservation, about an hour east on Highway 2. The east entrance to Going To The Sun Road is an hour north via the winding and bumpy Looking Glass.
Two Medicine Lake has been mostly closed to private watercraft since 2019 (disappointing). They do rent canoes for around $28 an hour. Apgar, Fish Creek, Many Glacier (the best), and St. Mary are better options for camping (with showers and clean bathrooms). And the lakes at those campgrounds are not closed to private watercraft.
All that said, the area is gorgeous. There are no glaciers, but there are worthwhile hikes (some long and/or strenuous climbs), so plan for long days and bring plenty of food and water!
