We always love camping at Holter Lake campground. It is a gorgeous setting and the grounds are really well maintained, grass is mowed, bathrooms clean. The sites are large enough for our truck , trailer and boat. There are 3 camp hosts, so always someone around if you need help. There is a 3 lane concrete boat ramp and docks that make launching your boat quick and easy. Also boat slips when you aren't ready to take out.

Always a nice campground, well kept.
Would like to have hosts address constant barking dogs, not the occasional barking when walking the dogs.

The fireworks from the near neighbors were a bit over the top. Suggest not camping over July 4

We left that same night. I didn't read all the rules, we bring our dogs, and one of the campers spent one night said his dog barked a couple times and next day was told he needed to figure it out because they couldn't have another night of it, plus dogs couldn't swim in lake, it was too crowded. We just aren't into that kind of camping.

The campground and Holter Lake was wonderful as usual. My family has been camping and boating at Holter for the last 60 years. A few complaints. The main one is having to reserve a spot online when there is not cell service at the campground. The 1st night there were over 20 open camping spots. The next complaint is the camp host had the radio blaring in the office Garage all day and night. In the morning opened the garage door and it was even louder. This was right next to the sign that states the quiet hours. I would like to request that the yard light at the docks be fixed as it is very difficult to find the dock and dock your boat at night. Also it would be very nice for the fish station to be useable. The campground was very clean, the lawns were nice, the other campers where very nice, friendly and respectful. We had an issue because we rented a spot at Holter Lake Campground when we wanted to be at Log Gulch. This was my error but was not easy to correct. This online only camping makes it very difficult for older people who don't use computers and have difficulty with phones.

A beautiful spot. Site 39 is in a parking lot but it quiets down at night. The beach is nice and having a waterfront site was great.

Fantastic! Beautiful campground- so well taken care of. Please get help for your groundskeeper though, he is working so hard and could use an extra set of hands!
