Holter is our fave place. The staff have done a great job on maintaining facility and have always been very friendly.
The bathrooms are always clean and the lawn upkeep is the best we’ve seen in 25 years.
The only upgrade I could recommend is moving some of the posts and rocks so backing into camp-sights wouldn’t be so challenging. I’m sure this was designed decades ago and the RV’s and trailers today are much longer than years ago. The campsites are extra wide and most allow large units, along with boats and vehicles. The paint on the rocks and beat up posts will verify this issue. After 25 years I finally put my mark on one of the posts.
All being said, even after battering my pride a bit this last trip, there is no better place than this camp ground.

Clean peaceful campground, big sites. Some are a little challenging to get large 5th wheel into because of posts and fencing but overall great place to camp. Ranger and hosts very friendly and attentive

The campground is beautiful and well kept. However, because it's an older campground the spaces don't accomodate bigger RVs very well. Some spaces will, but others won't. The spaces themselves are big enough, however, backing into them is very difficult on some.
