Nebraska Tailwaters

Very nice campground. Restrooms very clean. Easy access. Only downside is there is no water at any of the sites.

It exceeded my expectations. I only stopped to get out of the heat and ended up staying 2 extra days. My dogs loved it. The grounds and bathroom were clean. Everyone was more than pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this campground to any traveler and stay again. Thanks!

Everything was great as always that's what keeps us coming back for over 20 years

It was very nice and clean. It is more of an adult camping area because there isnt anything for kids to do. We enjoyed our time

This feels more like a park where you would day camp or a party site. There is no fishing but boat access. The site is in the front, so everyone passes you for their day experience. It’s noisy; both from cars driving on the major street behind you and in front of you and from any events or music/concerts on the over side of the river.

Beautiful place and so relaxing. Great fishing too.

Very clean, ample shade, level sites, not too close together

Very nice spot. Except I made a mistake and parked in wrong spot should have been #6 and I was in #5. When the person who had #5 arrived he came and beat on my door not knock but beat, and irately told me to move. Not a problem I moved to 6.
He then calls the park ranger and accuses me of squatting. The ranger asked for my reservation and I show her. And I then let her know what happened and how the mistake I made happened. The ranger agreed it was an honest mistake. She left and went and spoke with the accuser for quite awhile.
Had that man been a gentleman and politely said hey I think you made a mistake we could have laughed it off . But know he wasted the rangers time and tried to make me a thief.
We will continue to use Tailwayers when in the area

Gorgeous, lots of trees, paved pad, immaculate stainless shower house. Excellent hosts. Saw the sunrise which was so pretty plus pelicans flying overhead. Took a walk along the lake and saw a Belted Kingfisher plus an eagle swoop down for a fish. We also watched loads of big fish jumping.

We love to fish, and there was only 1 handicap place to fish. They use to have steps going down to the water at different places. No longer there. I think the flood took them out. So they need replaced, as there is no place for the elderly or handicap to get down to the water.
