My spot was small. No easy accessible trails. Right by the Missouri River.

I like to camp here this location, however, these past 2 years do not like the weedkiller they use and now all the plants are brown instead of green along the water. Also the camper next to us had an extra grey/black tank and kept spilling the contents instead of taking to the dump. Made me a little sick and had plates from Kansas.

Beautiful setting on the Missouri river. We had nice, paved and fairly level parking with grass and trees around. The restroom and showers were well maintained and kept very clean throughout each day. Many people come to fish here but we are not fishermen. However, we love to walk, hike and bike and there are an abundance of trails in the area to pursue these activities. Town of Yankton and the Cottonwood Recreation area on the Lewis & Clark Lake are very accessible. The nearby visitor’s center offers great views, historical exhibits and area information.

Great for our purpose -- overnight stop on our way north. Lots of birds behind the campsites and on the river. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Lights were left on through the night but we could block it out.

Quiet and clean restroom, but due to work on the dam road, you can only access the campsite off Hwy 81 or north of Crofton.

Very clean campground. Free showers. Plenty of shade and a boat ramp. Very well ran campground compared to many other campgrounds in the state

Had a good view of the tail waters below the dam. Clean bathrooms. No water at campground and you have to fill up outside the campground at the dumping site. No signs.

This is a small but very pleasant campground right on the river. It has a great location and clean restrooms.
