Hunter Cove Park is located on the eastern end of Harlan County Lake near Republican City, Nebraska. The 13,000-acre Harlan County Lake is the second largest lake in Nebraska. The lake and surrounding land hold great appeal for sportsmen, birders, naturalists or anyone wanting to just get away.

Hunter Cove is a peaceful and well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite among visitors. The scenic location by the St. Lawrence River offers plenty of walking opportunities and a beautiful environment for relaxation. Very nice and beautiful park. Staff was friendly and efficient. We had a site with water and electricity. Most do not have electricity. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful site on the lake. Very Courteous staff. Kinda trashy, though -- 2 dead catfish in the fire pit, garbage bag full of trash next to it, general litter all around.

We were in the primitive area with our campers. It was nice to be right by the water and not surrounded with close neighbors. Beautiful area and super great campground hosts/registration house individuals.

Absolutely loved the camping space lots of privacy and not much traffic. Fishing was okay. And for what we wanted that weekend it was awesome
