What Guests Are Saying
Hunter Cove is a peaceful and well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite among visitors. The scenic location by the St. Lawrence River offers plenty of walking opportunities and a beautiful environment for relaxation. While some areas need improvement, like water access and the availability of sewer hookups, many guests appreciate the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere, returning year after year.

Other than the site next to us (58) having six+ dogs with some not on a leash, we were in our camper the majority of the time. Check in person was extremely helpful and accommodating.

We were in # 1 spot and it rained. The whole area that we parked and next to the camper was solid mud. It was nasty. Noticed the other spots had plenty of white rock. Have always reserved this spot but was very disappointed this time

Was there strictly for fishing. Weather wasn't the best, but is still relaxing.

A group of us have annually made trips to Hunters Cove for several decades and never had a bad experience, except for rain.

Very windy and I left early to go to a more protected campground. My original site was in a lower level and nothing but dirt due to some flooding in prior weeks. I wish I would have know when making the reservation but at least the rangers helped me find a new site.

Nice place to camp. City of Alma is close and lots of services. Only 7 sites with water hookups.
