What Guests Are Saying
Hunter Cove is a peaceful and well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite among visitors. The scenic location by the St. Lawrence River offers plenty of walking opportunities and a beautiful environment for relaxation. While some areas need improvement, like water access and the availability of sewer hookups, many guests appreciate the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere, returning year after year.

The hosts were helpful in guiding us to the perfect site. We really enjoyed the very clean and private bathroom and shower facilities. The campsite was well kept and had beautiful trees for shade. We had a very relaxing time, what vacations are all about.

Nice views of Mississippi and sunsets. Quite. If I Had one more 25' hose could have added water. Make the 30+- mile trip to Galena, home to U Grant. Well worth it. Historic buildings and area, Great food and unique non touristy shopping. View of Farm country stunning. There are also a couple wineries you can detour to coming or going. Power went due to storm, but was back on in a few hours.

Our spot was great, neighbors and dogs quiet but was not happy because they had borrowed the picnic table prior to us getting there and never put it back, so it was on the wrong side of the RV and the table was too heavy for 2 elderly people to move it. Other than that we love Harlan County campgrounds.

Have camped at Hunter Cove for years and it’s always been a good experience. We camp with a group of friends and reserve several spaces twice a year.
The boat dock and fish cleaning station at this location are really handy
We all enjoy the show facilities after a long day of fishing.
