What Guests Are Saying
Hunter Cove is a peaceful and well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite among visitors. The scenic location by the St. Lawrence River offers plenty of walking opportunities and a beautiful environment for relaxation. While some areas need improvement, like water access and the availability of sewer hookups, many guests appreciate the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere, returning year after year.

This was our first time camping at Hunter Cove and fishing at Harlan County Reservoir. Our view was absolutely beautiful! The campground was quiet and very clean! The campground host was very nice. The boat docks were in good shape and fish cleaning stations were clean too. I was very disappointed that the restrooms were all closed at the primitive campgrounds near the boat dock. That was very inconvenient! I think the whole primitive campground was closed but where were people supposed to use the restrooms that were out boating?! How unthoughtful of the park! We were there in August!! Everthing was locked up! I really don't think any Park worker needs to worry about getting COVID from cleaning a restroom now and then!
