We stayed a full week as a home base while we visited family in the area and will definitely be staying here again! There was an issue with the electric at our site when we arrived, but they were very nice about it and allowed us to pick another site and provided a refund for the difference without us even asking. The campsites were level and long allowing for ample parking and set up options. The showers were clean but the automatic lights shut off too early as it was pretty dark in there at 7AM still. The host was super friendly as was everyone we encountered. It was very quiet, but people still had a good time around the campfire at night yet were respectful of quiet times. A lot of locals come in for the weekends to hang at the lake and boat but again, everyone was polite and respectful of each other. This is a great little hidden gem!

Very well kept campground with lots of trees and grass. Gravel pads could use a little more gravel to keep the pad firm after soaking rain.

We decided to stay overnight at Methodist Cove late in the day and were pleased that a site was available. We were able to select a site with a great view. The only downside was that there is only restroom/shower facility. However, it is large and very clean. We had a very pleasant experience at Methodist Cove.

We were in site #114. We stayed there for the first time last year. We love watching for deer in the area across the road! Plenty of room to set up our screen room as well. A favorite spot!!

The people in charge and those keeping the campsite great condition are helpful and wonderful. We try to camp at least two to three weeks each year in the full service campsites. They are always clean and well maintained.

Dead trees have been removed and it really opened up the view of the lake! New trees planted in the right places. Awesome!
