Nice campground. We had perfect weather so the experience was enjoyable. However, the description said the site was shaded. It was not. The picnic table was in the middle of the graveled parking spot and it was so heavy we could barely drag it to the grass to park. We were required to book Saturday night even though we didn’t need it…and the reservation couldn’t be modified so we could cancel Saturday night and free up the availability. Seems the campground would like to know spots are available for “drop in” campers.

Very nice place to camp. The lake water level is low the time of year we went but was still able to enjoy the lake. The showers and restrooms were very clean which is awesome. The dump station could be updated or the approach to it be updated to allow more room for campers. Great place overall.
