Location to Vegas is great, but the campground could have been cleaner. Also some of the landscaping needs attention.

It was very nice overall. The bathrooms were superb. I wish the sites were a little more separated but it was typical. No complaints.

Camped next to a large group of folks playing music etc. Trash was piled up around over loaded dumpster, water pressure at potable refill hose was very weak, bathrooms were messy. Seems like the campground is getting run down and needs more attention. Noticeable change from years past.

Quite hours from 10 pm to 6 am. really? So at 6 am it is Generator and Music time - unbelievable. I guess I will never understand why people are going to camp outside in the nature but making so much noise by playing "their" music and let the Generator run all day long. Thanks god we had the chance to move to the quiet no generator area (Campground #35). First night we had #8. It was really so annoying because one camper was running the generator for almost the whole day. Other than that the CG was really nice but without the quiet zone we would have left. Our opinion is that music should be completely forbidden and generator hours should be for a limited time. Additional info: no showers!

Great campground by Lake Mead. Large flat sites with plenty of privacy. Some sites have beautiful views. Clean and comfortable.

Las Vegas Bay's heyday was years ago, but when Boulder Beach was filled, I headed up there. It was quiet. It was populated by people happy to enjoy quieter activities like birdwatching, viewing of sunrises, sunsets, and changing light. The campsites on the northern side overlooking Las Vegas Wash are great for those sorts of things. There are some bleaker areas, like those in the interior rows, but there were still spaces along the edges. Restrooms were clean and basic. From now, I will choose Las Vegas Bay's campground over the overpopulated scene at Boulder Beach.

Enjoyed our stay here for the following reasons:
1) Appreciate the segregation between those that use a generator, and those that don't. Makes for a much more pleasant experience. Wish all the park facilities had this feature!
2) Camp host was attentive and does a good job of monitoring the premises.
3) Sites were clean, bathrooms clean too.

Located just minutes from Las Vegas off Lakeshore Road within the park between near the city of Henderson, Nevada. Take Lake Mead Parkway east to the park entrance. Follow the road about 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Lakeshore Drive and take your first left onto Las Vegas Campground Road. You’ll arrive at the campground in about 1 mile.
Policies & Rules
General
- Lake Mead NRA does require an entrance fee in addition to camping fees. Entrance fees can be purchased on rec.gov or at entrance station locations.• Site capacity maximum is eight persons and four tents or one camping unit (motorhome/camp trailer).• Each site can have a maximum of two motorized vehicles, four motorcycles or a combination thereof if towed or carried on or by a camper. ## Reservations are required for all sites through this reservation system and can be made the same day as arrival. Cash is not accepted, and sites can only be booked through rec.gov.• Motor vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas only and may not be driven onto the dirt or across irrigation ditches. • The campground can accommodate RVs, but there are no hookups. • Camping in the park is limited to a total of 90 days within any consecutive 12-month period.• Camping is limited to 30 days in any developed campground.• All trash must be disposed of in appropriate trash or recycling receptacles. • Pets must be kept on a leash not to exceed 6-feet in length and should not be left unattended. Never leave your pet in a closed vehicle. Pet excrement must be disposed of in trash containers.• Please do not feed wildlife. Wild animals can become dependent on handouts of food and lose their fear of humans. This is dangerous for the wildlife and you. • Trees can provide refreshing shade and a windbreak for campers. It is illegal to cut or damage any tree in a national park. Please do not hang hammocks or other items from plants/trees.• Fires are permitted in grills, fire rings, portable stoves, portable barbecues and portable fireplaces in all campgrounds.• Fires should not be left unattended and must be completely extinguished with water, doused and stirred. • A campground host is available onsite to offer assistance. Wireless internet (WIFI) is not available at any campgrounds managed by Lake Mead National Recreation Area
