The campsite we stayed at was clean and complete. The campground host was very helpful and ran a great campground. The second day, the weather took a serious turn for the worse. Night time temps dropped to 13 degrees with snow and rain. The Host was out checking on us and all the other campers. We had the chance to hike a little on the third day. Beautiful area as usual. We finally left one day early due to the freezing conditions. Our gratitude to the Campground Host for being so diligent and friendly.

Campsite 7 has good morning shade! Perfect for warm days of the year, not so much when it’s cold. Beautiful open area behind you, water spigot right in front of you. Plenty of space away from other campsites.

It was cool, overall a decent location. However, very close to the road so lots of noise from cars. Some other guests were extremely loud and noisy which was a let down and the host didn’t do anything about it. Our host (Dennis) was pretty friendly but when we mentioned we had issue starting a fire, he didn’t really offer any support. I would come back here probably, but it wouldn’t be my first choice if other camping options exist.

Silver Tip is such a beautiful, quiet, well designed campsite that it is hard to resist the temptation to tell everyone I know about this place. I don't want it to be overrun with people!
