What Guests Are Saying
Silver Valley Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained location, ideal for families and offering a peaceful atmosphere, with clean bathrooms and friendly camp hosts. The proximity to the lake and nearby hiking trails enhances the overall experience, making it a favorite spot for many campers. However, some sites, particularly site 20, may have uneven ground and overgrowth, which can be a drawback for certain campers.

Our spot (#4) was not level but it worked out. Road is definitely narrow and husband had to move some pretty huge boulders to get our 22' trailer in. I loved how quiet this place was at night!! Lucky for us there were not a bunch of partiers the weekend we were here. It was a beautiful location, the bathroom was right next to our spot and thankfully we couldn't smell it. Can't wait to go back!

Loved the peace and quiet! The bathrooms were kept clean regularly. It was nice to have a bear box to protect our food, but it was too small to accommodate our ice chest. The Camp Host was amazing!!!

For the past three years every time I go, there are loads of group campers making nothing but noise all day long and night you guys should ban outdoor music. It’s not fair to others. I’m not going there anymore.

We stayed at Silver Valley Campground.... site #12. Open meadow, our 24' 5th wheel fit okay with leveling. Bathrooms were clean, and considering they were vault toilets, smelled nice lol Only complaint was people in 95 degree weather during the day, had smoldering fires. Been better to smell fresh air and the trees. Quick trip to get to Alpine Lake.... great kayak day!

This high alpine campground is very old, and was not designed and built with modern RVs in mind. It contains narrow roads, tight turns, and many, many inconvenient boulders and trees. RVs are allowed in every site if they fit, but this campground is a far cry from an RV park. The only surefire way to know if you can comfortably fit your RV in a specific site is to take an exploratory trip to scout it out for yourself. |
