Our first day was very windy all day; second day we were smoked out by a large wild fire and left early because of that. We quite like Riana over all, and have been there several times. We'll go again, but this latest trip was a bit of a bust.

We were here 22 years ago and in all that time and money the COE has taken in at this park you would assume new bathrooms and showers would have been built. Sorry to say no just same old ones and the doors still won’t close to keep out bugs. The COE should do better.

Host were great, helpful and attentive to my needs. My shelter collapsed from a sudden storm and the frame was bent beyond repair. He cut down the broken frame and disposed of it. Excellent host.

One of New Mexicos best kept secrets. First off the park is in pristine condition and nearly every camp site is huge. The camp hosts don’t tolerate any shenanigans and it is spotless. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking and there is a 5 mile long trail that is a MUST DO!!!

We were passing through and only spending a night, but the campground is laid out with good space between sites (we are rarely in CG's, preferring dispersed camping away from people) and mature trees providing good shade in many of the sites. Beautiful scenery surrounding the lake. The camp host was tops-the best we have ever run into, and we hosted for 8 years on a Federal wildlife refuge in AZ. He knew his stuff and communicated what you needed to know efficiently and at the same time letting you know that he was there to help you with anything that might come up, anytime. Terrific camp host!

AS a general whole it was pretty good.
Had neighbors on and off that were assholes and the park took care of one of them but left the other one alone.
The light on the top of the hill needs to turn off at night, otherwise it kills the ability to see the stars at night AND they really need to label the sites as to which ones can comfortable handle motohomes vs travel trailers and 5th wheels. I was in site 10 and it and 9 were definitely trailer sites not motorhome sites
