This site was close to Ghost Ranch and Plaza Blanca, two must-sees in the area.
This stay was made better by the excellent camp hosts! They helped us when our electric cord failed, and made sure we had good electric sites.

Campground is easy to find. There got there late found the attendants camper quickly. I was checked in with map and other necessary information efficiently. Chama 30 (no elect/water) Camp site had beautiful sky view, was packed sand with some desert grass. Fire pit, BBq grill and covered table. It sets back away from the lake but I was only there to sleep so didnt mind. Bathroom was across my camping area, not a bad walk or a quick drive. Take firewood & kindling with.

Spectacular views of the lake and mountains. Sites were spaced well providing privacy. Weak cellular service (Verizon and T-Mobile). It was an unforgettable experience for us staying in this beautiful COE campground.
