Riana Campground is located on a 150 ft. bluff overlooking the scenic Abiquiu Lake in northern New Mexico, just one hour northwest of charming Santa Fe. The lake sits at an elevation of 6,400 feet on the Rio Chama, a tributary of the legendary Rio Grande.

A bit of a remote location, but each COE facility that I have camped at has been first rate, and this place was no exception. As a bonus, one day I hiked over to the visitor center and learned a ton about the cultural and natural resources of the area.

Lovely views of the lake from the tent sites. Nice quiet campground with really nice attendant. The showers were clean and the water was warm but there was just a shower curtain in front of the dressing area. I wish there had been a door with a latch to that area. It didn't feel very safe to me.
